RockMy Events

Analysis, planning, design and development of the web 2.0 social network, RockMy Events.

RockMy Events is a small social network where artists and local managers can promote their events and locate them using Google Maps.

The site was built using the Ruby On Rails 2.0.2 and JQuery as javascript library.

The main features implemented are:

  • User registration
  • Creation and management of artists, live clubs, events
  • Email notifications
  • Search geospatial events, live clubs, artists through Google Maps
  • Localization in English and Italian
  • Integration with the last.fm webservices
  • Mechanism of human interaction to verify Captcha
Brutti Serramenti

Analysis, planning, design and development of the home page Brutti Serramenti.

The site was built using the CodeIgniter framework, so as to ensure compatibility with PHP4 as requested from the provider and to provide a MVC framework.

This site uses javascript frameworks like JQuery and Shadowbox.js for the gallery.

The custom graphics, designed from the demands of the customer, shows the type of activity exercised by the company.

The main features implemented are:

  • Privileged access
  • CRUD news as administrator
XP on Rails

Analysis, design, development and testing of wrblog, the engine used for this blog.

The blog was developed using the Ruby on Rails, following the practices of Extreme Programming and Test Driven Development.

The entire site has been tested with unit and functional tests, with a code coverage of over 90%.

The main features implemented are:

  • Role Based Access
  • CRUD posts
  • Administration Interface
  • Comments for guest or for registered users
  • Mathematical captcha spam prevention
  • Selected topics for registered users
  • Tagging of posts
  • Full Text Search
  • RSS and ATOM Syndication
